Private Rooms. Personal Pathways.

Lincoln Recovery gives people a quieter place to focus on their mental health — a rural Illinois campus where care is shaped around the individual, with room for the kind of steady, personal attention that's hard to find closer to home.

  • Rural Illinois campus
  • Private rooms during care
  • Personalized therapy plans
  • Dual-diagnosis support

Lincoln Recovery

A countryside campus for people who want real mental health care without giving up comfort, connection, or a say in how their own treatment unfolds.

Illinois Countryside

A countryside setting away from the stress and routines of home, where it's easier to focus on getting well.

Dual-Diagnosis Care

Mental health and substance use often travel together — Lincoln treats both as part of one personal plan, not two separate tracks.

Built Around the Individual

Care comes from what actually helps a given person — therapy, skills work, medication when it's useful — not a single fixed program.

Private Insurance Accepted

Most major private plans are accepted, with fast, no-obligation verification before anything's decided.

Why Lincoln

Support for the Whole Person.

Treatment here leads with mental health, not addiction. Lincoln's clinicians focus on the conditions that bring someone in, and fold in support for substance use, when it's present, as part of the same plan rather than a separate track.

Care may include clinical therapy, group support, dual-diagnosis programming, private rooms, and a setting designed to feel calmer than a traditional facility.

Anxiety and Depression, Treated at the Source

Lincoln Recovery treats anxiety and depression as more than symptoms to manage. The real work goes after what's underneath — the patterns and the thinking that keep people stuck — so progress holds up long after the stay ends. People leave understanding themselves more clearly, with tools they keep using.

  • Targets the root, not just the symptoms
  • Practical skills that outlast the stay
  • Paced for real progress, not a quick fix
  • Understanding you carry into everyday life

Tools You Take With You

Real change comes from understanding why things took hold in the first place — not just from quieting the symptoms. The therapy here is built for exactly that: steady, practical work that gives people skills they lean on for years.

Common Questions

Most People Want to Know These First

Getting Started & Care

Do I need a substance use issue to come here?
No. Lincoln Recovery treats primary mental health conditions — depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and complex trauma — with or without a co-occurring substance use disorder.
How long is the program?
Most clients stay between 30 and 90 days, depending on clinical needs and personal goals. During your consultation, our team recommends a length of stay based on your specific situation.
Will I see a psychiatrist or therapist?
Yes. You'll work with licensed therapists in both individual and group settings throughout your stay. Psychiatric evaluation and medication management are available as part of your treatment plan.

Insurance & Cost

Will my insurance actually cover treatment?
Most PPO plans cover a significant portion of inpatient mental health treatment. We verify your specific benefits before admission and tell you exactly what's covered and what your out-of-pocket cost will be — before you commit to anything.
What if my insurance doesn't cover everything?
We work with you on the gap. We offer payment plans and transparent upfront pricing so there are no surprises later. The conversation starts with verification, not a sales pitch.
Do you take Medicare or Medicaid?
Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid at this time. We work with most major PPO plans and also offer private-pay options.

Daily Life & Privacy

Can I keep my phone and laptop?
Yes. Unlike most treatment centers, Lincoln Recovery allows clients to keep their personal devices throughout their stay, so they can stay connected to family, work, and the outside world.
What does a typical day look like?
Days are structured around morning and afternoon therapy groups, with free time in the late afternoon for the gym, personal needs, or specialty groups. Evenings include peer support groups.
Is treatment confidential?
Yes. Your participation in treatment is protected under federal confidentiality law, which provides strong privacy protections for behavioral health care.
